Eight arrests have been made, according to information, by Anti-Terrorist officers for the bomb attack with an improvised devicewhich had noted the in the early hours of January 25th in a bank on Trion Hierarchon in Petralona.

The group “Revenge Conspiracy” claimed responsibility for the attack.

The operation began early Tuesday morning and is related to the action of the group that has taken responsibility for bomb attacks and also for threats against judges.

Investigations are ongoing, apart from Athens and in two penitentiaries in the province.

Also, as part of the operation, searches have been carried out in 10 houses, from where material has been seized which will be investigated.

The “Vengeance Conspiracy” team has claimed responsibility and two more actions:

1. In July 2023, a grenade attack on a prison officer’s car in Haidari.

2. In November 2023, a bomb attack on a construction company in Kifissia.

Announcements from ELAS are expected after the completion of the operation.
