On Thursday 29/02/2024, the lawyer and Arch Guardian of the Great Church of Christ, Sakis Kehagioglou, went to Constantinople to attend the celebration of the 84th birthday of the ATHP of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. After the morning Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Church of Agios Georgios in Fanari, which was performed by the Grand Protosygellos Mr. Grigorios, the approximately 150 guests from Constantinople, Greece and also from other countries enjoyed a meal at a restaurant in the Modi area on the Eastern side of Polis which was quoted by His Holiness and edited by the local Metropolitan Geron Chalkidonos Mr. Emmanuel.

The lunch was attended by several Hierarchs of the Throne, Archbishop Anthidonos Mr. Nektarios, exarch of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem in Constantinople, and from Greece, the Metropolitans of Laodicea, Dodoni, Thessaloniki, Serres, Siderokastro and Kilkisi. Also present were the Consul General of Greece in Constantinople, Ambassador Mr. Konstantinos Koutras, the Chief Rabbi of Athens Mr. Gabriel Negrin, Official Lords, businessmen and others.

Mr. Kehagioglou, instead of another gift, offered the birthday cake to His Holiness, which had on it a performance inspired and designed by clerics of the Patriarchate as well as a poem again by the same persons.

The show showed Imbros and Constantinople in the blue sea, while a bridge connected the village of Panagiotatos, Agioi Theodorou with the city, simply expressing the life course of this ecclesiastical man. His Holiness, at the end of the meal, thanked, among others, the Most Reverend Metropolitan Elder of Chalkidon, Mr. Emmanuel for the excellent preparation of the meal, as well as Mr. Kehagioglou for the offer of the birthday cake, which was certainly only a small sample of his love and devotion distinguished lawyer to the Ecumenical Throne and our Patriarch.
