An intervention at the entrance of the apartment building where the apartment of the Dean of Law of AUTH, Panagiotis Glavinis, is located, in the area of Kalamaria, in Thessaloniki, was carried out by anti-authoritarians.

As they state in a statement on the page of the anti-authoritarian space, they threw paints, trikes and wrote slogans at the entrance of the apartment building.

“The ruffian in question, while he ordered, directly from the minister Prof. M. Chrysochoidis, the evacuation of the law school, which was under occupation by the decision of the massive G.S. of the Law students’ association, he never took responsibility for this act while at the same time in public and in an e-mail he congratulated the “intervention of the state” for the restoration of order and the supposed law.

For this very reason, we visited him at his residence in Kalamaria, on Kotyoron Street. During our visit, we renovated the entrance of the apartment building by painting it, while we wrote slogans, and threw trikas, to remind the ruffian Panagiotis Glavinis that the only justice is proletarian, and that these choices have consequences”, she states, among other things, in her announcement the group “Students in the battle for popular needs”.

The fact that this Friday (8/3) the most reactionary and anti-people bill in education is being passed is not something that happened overnight. All governments throughout the ages, from the Bologna treaty onwards, have not only consented to the privatization of education, on the contrary it has always had an important place in their strategy. The arguments they invoke about the modernization and upgrading of education are nothing more than lies, nothing more than an attempt to hide the complete commercialization of education, just like it was done in other social goods as a directive of the EU imperialist unions. and NATO.

The privatization of social benefits as a strategy of capital is a direct attack of the imperialist-capitalist system on the people, the working class and their bloody claims. It is an attempt to find and create new markets and at the same time devalue the working class as a means of profit and overcoming this structural crisis it is going through.

Specifically, in education with the use of class barriers such as the dualization of the secondary level of education, E.B.E., the complete transfer of the cost of education to the backs of students and their families, create a distribution of the labor force precisely for serving the capital’s needs. Coupled with the over-fragmented subject matter that the worker hires, over-specialization and the promotion of technical studies, they try to divide the Class, putting it in a constant competition within itself, to obtain more and more certifications. At the same time, with the upgrading of the productive role of the university, the research produced by the research/workforce within the understaffed and underfunded HEIs, almost non-profit and under precarious status, are fully oriented to the needs of local and international capital. This practically means that private companies do unmolested business on the backs of the public to produce research for the further military operation of the Greek state.

In all of this, the student movement had put and continues to put an embankment. From the bloody November 17, 1973, to the great struggles of 90-91, to the barricades and conflicts of 06-07, the student movement, always in connection with the labor and popular factor, succeeds and defends the public and free nature of education, but and herself as a social good. He manages and defends asylum as an outcome of popular and class struggles, until today when this is contested by the state with the tip of the spear of its repressive mechanism. Of course, this also happens at the urging of the Ministry of Planning, the government mouthpieces of the senate, and more specifically by the dean of Law Panagiotis Glavinis.

The said ruffian, while he ordered, directly from the minister Prof. M. Chrysochoidis, the evacuation of the law school, which was under occupation by the decision of the mass G.S. of the Law students’ association, see he never took responsibility for this act while at the same time in public and in an e-mail he congratulated the “intervention of the state” for the restoration of order and the supposed law.

For this very reason, we visited him at his residence in Kalamaria, on Kotyoron Street. During our visit, we renovated the entrance of the apartment building by painting it, while we wrote slogans, and threw trikaki, to remind the ruffian Panagiotis Glavinis that the only justice is proletarian, and that these choices have consequences.

We are many and many, and we are right on our side, and people like Glavinis and his crew know this, so in the face of a minimal return from the violence he himself exerted through his decisions and choices, he chose to remain silent (in contrast to the celebratory statements he made to heaps of media after the failed evacuation of Law School) and to conceal the fact.

A hand extended to the student and class movement will be cut off. From the root.
