The new president of KEDE was elected the mayor of Ampelokipi Menemeni Lazaros Kyrizoglou, head of the self-governing faction “Modern Strong Municipalities”, during the special meeting of the new Board of Directors.

Grigoris Constantellos, mayor of Varis-Voulas-Vouliagmenis, was elected to the position of 1st vice-president, Georgios Papanastasiou, mayor of Agrini, to the position of 2nd vice-president, and Dimitris Kafantaris, municipal councilor of Pylos-Nestoros, to the position of general secretary.

Also during the meeting, the additional seven elected members – in addition to the Bureau – who make up the 11-member Executive Committee were elected. In particular, the following were elected:

Eleftherios Raviolos, mayor of Karystos

Vasilios Tsiakos, mayor of Karditsa

Theodoros Ambatzoglou, mayor of Amarousi

Christos Tedomas, Municipal Councilor of Athens

Evangelos Barbakos, Municipal Councilor of Kallithea

Simos Danielidis, mayor of Neapolis-Sykeon

Kostas Zachariadis, Municipal Councilor of Athens
