At 22:00, a team of the Fire Service transported one to a safe place old woman, as her house was flooded in the area Kontariotissa.

Also a section of the Fire Service, carried three women to safety who were riding in I.X. car in the Vronto area, as the water level was rising and the vehicle could not move.

Until 12 midnight the Fire Service received 40 calls and had to intervene in three cases for pumping water from houses.

Provincial roads in the highlands of Pieria were flooded and traffic was blocked. However, the movement of vehicles in PATHE is without problems.

Meanwhile, power supply problems are recorded due to the bad weather in areas of the Municipality of Thermaikos, east of Thessaloniki. At the moment, the time to restore the problems has not been known.

Heavy hail in Trikala, villages without electricity in Farkadona

Yesterday afternoon a strong storm and hailstorm hit the city of Trikala, causing problems in the traffic of vehicles on the Trikala – Ioannina highway.

A brief power outage occurred in villages of the Municipality of Farkadona, as the storm was accompanied by intense lightning activity. Hailfall, without any damage being reported, was also recorded in the area of ​​Vasiliki Kalambaka.
