Easy ingredients, a little alcohol and a special decoration to make the tastiest and easiest chocolate mousse.

What you will need:

  • 200 gr. dark chocolate 70%, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 eggs – separate white from yolk
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of your favorite liqueur
  • 1 cup of cream (whipped)
  • ½ cup Valhrona chocolate balls for decoration (optional)

How to make it:

  1. Place the chocolate and butter in an ovenproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir until melted and smooth, being careful not to touch the base of the bowl with the water. Beat the egg yolks with the powdered sugar and alcohol, then beat it into the chocolate. While the chocolate is melting, beat the egg whites until stiff and whip the cream. Fold the third of the egg whites into the chocolate, add the remaining egg whites and the whipped cream and work carefully until combined.
  2. Pour into serving glasses and chill for 3 hours (or up to overnight) before serving. Leave at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving sprinkled with chocolate balls.
