Heart attack a 38-year-old man suffered on Tuesday afternoon and succumbed during his transport by ambulance to the General Hospital of Rhodes, whose house was checked for drug trafficking.

The man was placed under surveillance and on the evening of March 5, 2024, a control operation was carried out. The 38-year-old man was spotted outside his shop and when the police approached him, he allegedly reacted and tried to walk away.

The police managed to immobilize him and in a body search they did not find anything on him, however he followed control at his house which he also used as a shop.

There was also a 33-year-old woman who was arrested and brought before the Prosecutor’s Office yesterday, who prosecuted her for drug trafficking and referred her before the regular Investigator for further proceedings.
He asked for and received yesterday a deadline to apologize on Friday.

At the same time, the 38-year-old told the police that he doesn’t feel well. His handcuffs were removed and he then lay down and pretended to be having a seizure.
EKAV was called, they took him and at that moment the 33-year-old woman also felt unwell and was picked up by another ambulance and taken to the Emergency Department.

On his way to the hospital, the 38-year-old succumbed to cardiac arrest.

In the evening, a search was carried out at his shop in the presence of a witness and one improvised plastic package containing cocaine with a gross weight of 0.1 grams, two improvised plastic packages with cocaine, with a gross weight of 2.7 grams each, one improvised plastic package with an unknown white chemical powder with a gross weight of 3 grams were found. . for smoking cocaine.
Two more mobile phones were seized.
