Details on which roads the Half Marathon will be held
Temporary traffic regulations have come into force today, Sunday 10 March in the center of Athens due to the holding of street races in the city centre.
In particular, from 09.00 to 12.20 the Athens Road Half Marathon will be held on the route:
Start: Monument to the Unknown Soldier (MAS)
Route: Aeolos University – Philellinon Stadium – Amalia Street – A. Diakou – Ardittos (down stream) – L. V. Konstantinou (up stream) – L. V. Sofia – L. Mesogeion – Michalakopoulou – Mesogeion – turning at Sofias Sliman – Mesogeion St. – Fidippidou – Sofia St. – Akadimias St. – Chalkokondili – Patision – turning at the height of Kefallinia St. – Patision St. – Aiolos – Stadiou – Philellinon St. – Amalia St. – A. Diakou – Ardittos St. (downstream) – St. V. Konstantinou (downstream), Rizari – L. V. Sofias – Akadimias – Riga Feraio – Panepistumi – L. Amalias.

Due to the aforementioned matches, the following TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ADJUSTMENTS will be implemented:
Temporary and gradual stoppage of vehicular traffic (including bicycles and E.P.H.O.) and prohibition of their stopping and parking, on Sunday 10/03/2024 and during the hours 07.00′ to 13.30′, at the times below avenues, streets and squares, of the Municipality of Athens, as follows:
Vass. Amalia Avenue in both -2- traffic streams, as well as on its right-of-way up to the first parallel street in its section between Vass. Olgas and Syngrou Avenues.
– In the section between L. Vas. Olga and El. Venizelou (University), the stoppage of vehicle traffic will be in effect as above during the hours 06.00′ to 14.00′, while further on in the section between Souri and L. Vas. Sofia streets, traffic will be stopped in the right lane gradually from 14.00 on Saturday 09/03/2024 until 14.00 on Sunday 10/03/2024.

Via Alexandra Street (traffic flow towards Alexandra Street) – left Panormou (flow towards Kifisias Street) – left Kifisias Street (traffic flow towards Kifisia) – right Katehaki Street – continuation of P. Kanellopoulos – continuation either right of Kokkinopoulos or straight to Karea – L.Alimou.
From Zografou – Pagrati – Kaisariani – Byron to Athens Center:
