Xuxa opens vegan fast food in SP with fish and burgers made from vegetables

XBloom, a vegan fast-food chain that has presenter Xuxa as a partner, has just gained a unit in the Santa Cruz shopping mall, in the south zone of the capital of São Paulo.

The snack bar, created in 2022 and with addresses in several states, had a store in the JK Iguatemi shopping mall, but it was recently closed.

The queen of little people is also the queen of veganism, being known for defending the animal cause. Last year, she became a partner at Bloom — which added an X to her name.

All ingredients used in preparing food and drinks are of plant origin. The packaging is biodegradable, says the chain, which offsets the carbon involved in its production. The meats are from the Incrível brand, made with a mixture of vegetable proteins and fiber.

A video of Xuxa eating a hamburger appears on the totems where orders are placed. There are 14 sandwiches on the menu, such as the big bloom (R$ 35.90), which has two vegan burgers, lettuce, vegetable-based cheese, sauce, onion and pickles on toasted bread. The fish tack (R$ 32.90) includes vegetable fish, onion rings, coleslaw and tartar sauce.

To accompany it, there are portions of French fries in cottonseed oil and seasoned with pink salt, onion rings, vegetable-fried chicken nuggets and vegetable-based fish strips.

The drinks do not contain sugar and are sold as detox or functional to improve problems such as anxiety. Milkshakes and protein sundaes complete the menu.

It is also possible to place orders for delivery, via the iFood and Rappi apps. The chain has plans to open, in the coming months, a second unit in Cotia, in Greater São Paulo.
