The Police made 49 arrests yesterday, after the intervention at the School of Positive Sciences of the AUTH.
Today, all 49 additions were converted to arrests and those arrested will be taken to the competent authority today prosecutor.
The 49 are accused of disruption of service, damage to foreign property, violation of the law on weapons and flares.
According to information, the police operation inside the AUTH took place because ELAS was informed that a group of people tried to remove the sheet metal outside the library under construction, in the former occupation of the Biological.
The people who allegedly tried to remove the metal sheets seem to have then hidden inside the building, with ELAS proceeding with an operation inside the School to locate them.

Finally, the Greek Police will henceforth show tolerance in cases of occupation of university premises and illegal actions surrounding them.
According to ELAS sources who spoke to SKAI and Michalis Tezaris, from now on when the police find corruption inside university institutions, or incidents around them, they will intervene without delay and without endless analyzes with the rectors.
