Read in detail where there will be a temporary and gradual stoppage of traffic
The Police will proceed with emergency traffic regulations on streets and avenues of the Municipality of Athens on Sunday (24/3) due to the student parade to celebrate the National Anniversary of March 25, 1821.
Traffic regulations in detail:
Temporary and gradual stoppage of vehicular traffic, from 10.00 on 24-3-2024 until the end of the events, as well as a ban on their stopping – parking, from 06.00 until the end of the events on the avenues and streets below, as follows:
– Ave. Vas. Amalia, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams, as well as on its perpendiculars up to the first parallel street.
– Ave. Vas. Sofias, in the section between Sekeri Street and L. Vas. Amalia, in the traffic flow towards Pl. Constitution.
– Bas. Georgiou I’, along its entire length.
– El. Venizelou (University), along its entire length and on its diagonals up to the first parallel street.
– Ave. Vas. Olgas, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams.
– Ave. Syngrou, in the section between Ath. Diakos and Dionysios Areopagitou streets, in the traffic flow towards Pl. Constitution.
As pointed out by ELAS, on Monday 3-25-2024 student parades will be held in Attica Municipalities during which the Traffic will take the necessary traffic measures.
Finally, the Police appeals to drivers for better service and to avoid additional traffic problems, to avoid crossing and parking their vehicles on the above streets and boulevards during the mentioned time intervals and to follow the signals and instructions of the traffic controllers.
