The The Joint Jury Court of Athens found 8 of the total 24 defendants guilty in the Polytechnic University case. The remaining 16 were found not guilty either unanimously or by majority.

More specifically, the 8 were convicted for individual felonies and misdemeanors, such as gangs, robberies, theft, aggravated drug use, gun possession.

The alleged leader of the three gangs that allegedly occupied the student residences of the Polytechnic University, was convicted of gang, robbery, aggravated drug use and weapons possession.

The 30-year-old was acquitted by a majority for the attempted murder of a police officer, as he was accused of attacking her with a screwdriver and injuring her hands, during the police raid in Polytechnic University, in September 2022. In the decision regarding this part, the regular judges voted against who were of the view that the defendant should be convicted of causing dangerous bodily harm.
