The student parade in the center of Athens for the celebration of March 25 started at 11:00.

Traffic regulations
Traffic arrangements are in effect from 10:00 am this Sunday in the center of Athens, due to the student parade.
Specifically, the traffic police has announced traffic regulations due to the parades for March 25.
In detail what has been announced by the traffic police about closed roads
For Sunday 24/3 (student parade) a temporary and gradual stoppage of vehicle traffic has been announced, from 10:00 until the end of the events, as well as a ban on standing & parking, from 06:00 until the end of the events on the following streets:
– Vasilissis Amalias Avenue, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams, as well as on its perpendiculars up to the first parallel street.
– Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, in the section between Sekeri Street and Vasilissis Amalia Avenue, in the traffic flow towards Syntagma Square.
-King George I, along its entire length.
-Eleftheriou Venizelos (University), along its entire length and on its diagonals up to the first parallel street.
– Vasilissis Olgas Avenue, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams.
– Syngrou Avenue, in the section between Athanasios Diakos and Dionysios Areopagitou streets, in the traffic flow towards Syntagma Square.
In essence, traffic is prohibited on the above roads from 10:00 in the morning until the end of the events, and stopping and parking are prohibited from 06:00 until the end of the events.
In addition, the Traffic Authority points out that also on Monday, March 25, student parades will be held in Attica Municipalities where there will be corresponding traffic arrangements with closed roads.
In the relevant announcement, the Traffic Police states:
“For better service and to avoid additional traffic problems, drivers are requested to avoid crossing and parking their vehicles on the above streets and boulevards during the mentioned time intervals and to follow the signals and instructions of the traffic controllers.”
