Skai.gr brings video documents from the action of the “mice” that had become the fear and terror of property owners in Ekali and N. Eritrea.

The four age burglars 23, 26, 29 and 37 years old who they finally fell into the hands of ELAS in Kifissia, by Immediate Action policemen, fear and terror had become the northern suburbs.

The end of the gang came when with the “company car” to which they had adapted license plates that had been stolen from a woman’s vehiclethey broke down the balcony door of an apartment in Nea Erythrea, entered inside and took a lot of jewelry.

During their escape, were spotted by patrolling police officers of the DI.AS Team. and were called in for an inspection.

The driver did not comply with the instructions of the police and acceleratedcarrying out dangerous maneuvers with the police officers who were reinforced with additional Immediate Action forces (police cars and the ZITA team) following the car in front from a sufficient safety distance, constantly calling the driver to stop the vehicle using a beacon and sound signals.

The driver entered the traffic stream in reverse on a main street of Kifissiain order to avoid arrest, endangering the safety of passing drivers and pedestrians.
Then the perpetrators’ vehicle reversed and collided with another vehicle that was moving normally on the same road, with a police officer getting off the bike and urgently asking the perpetrators to stop, with the driver ignoring the orders and moving threateningly at the expense of the police officers with the intention of harming them.
The officer fired a shot to immobilize the vehicle on its front wheel.

The pursued car continued its course for a while longeruntil it crashed into parked cars, with the perpetrators this time trying to escape on foot, abandoning the vehicle.

A foot pursuit ensueduntil the perpetrators were identified and arrested by the police forces.

The perpetrators were taken to the Northeast Attica Security Directorate which was assigned as a pre-investigation of the case and additionally solved two cases of burglaries and thefts from houses in Nea Erythraia that were committed consecutively by the above gang in the same manner of action the previous day.

Both in their possession and on the route of their escape on foot after an investigation by the police, part of the stolen goods was found, which were attributed to the victim.
Furthermore, the “business” car of the perpetrators and the projectile from its surface were confiscated, in order to be examined in the laboratory.

Those arrested were taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens, while the investigation both to find out the extent of their criminal activity and to arrest other members continues.
