Each student can be a candidate for up to 2 Standard Schools (Middle-High School), 1 Church School and up to 1 Experimental School (Kindergarten-Primary-High School-High School) at the same time
Today, Friday 29 March 2024, the submission of applications for admission to Model Schools, Experimental Schools and Church Schools begins, through an electronic platform, in which parents or guardians or any other person who has custody of the students or is legally authorized, can to submit an online application for the participation of students in their admission procedures to a Model School (PS) or Experimental School (PEI.S) or Ecclesiastical School (ES). The platform will remain open until Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Application information
Parents or guardians or another person who has custody of the students or has been legally authorized, when submitting their application, can fill in their mobile phone number, on which they will receive the following informative text messages (SMS):
a. for the examination center in which the candidate will compete and his/her application code as well as for the results of Model Schools, Church Schools (2 messages),
b. for the results of the Experimental Schools lottery (1 message).
Each student can be a candidate for up to 2 Standard Schools (Middle-High School), 1 Church School and up to 1 Experimental School (Kindergarten-Primary-High School-High School) at the same time. In the case of choosing two Models, the order of preference is declared on the platform, while in case of simultaneous success in a Model and Experimental School, the choice must be declared afterwards with a responsible declaration of the parent/guardian.
Also, if a Standard School (High School or High School) and a Church School (High School or High School) have been selected at the same time, the order of preference for attending the two types of schools is stated. From the specific school units that have been declared, one (1) Model or Church School is also selected, in which the candidate student wishes to be runner-up.
The date of the public hearing lottery for admission to the Experimental Schools and the performance of the random Priority Number, in case of a tie in the Standard Schools, is Friday, May 17, 2024.
The date of the skills test (test) for admission to Standard Schools is Saturday 18 May 2024. In the above test, students are assessed on skills they acquired during their studies in Primary School or High School, as the case may be, related to the understanding of Greek language texts and mathematical concepts. Students are not required to study specific material to prepare for their participation in said test.
The date of the aptitude test (test) for admission to Church Schools is also Saturday 18 May 2024, as the admission process to the above Schools will take place in parallel with the admission process to Standard Schools. In the above test, the students are assessed on skills related to the understanding of Greek language texts, mathematical concepts and Religious subjects acquired during their studies in Primary School (those interested in admission to the Ecclesiastical High School) or High School (those who wish to enter them at the General Ecclesiastical High School). Students are not required to study specific material to prepare for their participation in said test.
The Application Submission System has been developed by the Governing Committee of Model and Experimental Schools (D.E.P.P.S.) with the support of the Institute of Educational Policy (I.E.P.). The design, implementation, management, operation and application of its electronic lottery software as well as the software for extracting the results for each Experimental School has been developed by the Institute of Computer Technology & Publications (I.T.Y.E. .) – “Diophantus”.
