Night, targeted foray by the Traffic Accident Control and Prevention Teams (OEPTA) of the Attica Traffic Directorate, to entertainment centers in the center of Athens
In the context of operational planning by the Directorate Traffic officer Attica for the reduction of the activity of individuals, who they arbitrarily occupy public spaces and sections of streets and sidewalks to secure parking spaces for store customers, night hours of 30 to 31-3-2024 was carried out targeted foray by the Traffic Accident Control and Prevention Teams (T.E.P.T.A.) of the Attica Traffic Directorate, in entertainment centers in the center of Athens.
The result of the checks was arrest of four people in the Kolonakiof which three were receiving the vehicles and one was the temporary manager of the store.
Specifically, those arrested would pick up customers’ vehicles, hand them numbered stickers and then place another sticker on the vehicle’s windshield.
Then they parked the cars wherever they could – on streets, sidewalks, etc. public places.
When leaving the shops the drivers for a monetary consideration and without issuing a tax document (receipt), they received the keys to their vehicles.
The arrested persons were brought, in the context of the spontaneous procedure with the files against them, to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
At the same time, co-competent services were informed about their own further actions.
