Stelios Malezas, a man who has linked his name to Greek football both as a footballer and as a coach, brings with him experience, knowledge and professionalism, elements that are fully in line with the philosophy and ambitions of AEL Novibet.

Born on March 11, 1985 in Katerini, Stelios Malezas took his first steps to Pontians Katerini before transferring to PAOK Academies, where he competed for two long periods (2003/12 and 2015/19), recording more than 250 entries in all competitions. In the meantime, he wore Fortuna Düsseldorf in Germany (2012/14), where he competed in the Bundesliga, while in the 2014/15 season he competed in Panetoliko, also leaving a positive footprint. With PAOK he won three Greek Cups in 2017, 2018 and 2019 as well as a championship in 2019, and he was also international with the Men’s National Team Otto Rehhagel. His coat of arms came on November 15, 2011, in a friendly game against Romania held in Austria, then coached by Fernando Santos.

During his presence at the National, Malezas was a member of the mission that represented Greece at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, as well as the 2012 European Championships in Poland and Ukraine. In total he fought in three matches with the blue -white jersey.

At the end of his football career, Stelios Malezas turned to coaching, starting with the PAOK academies, winning the K19 championship in his first year as coach and reaching the bench of the second team, PAOK B in the 2022/23.
