Beneficiaries will receive a 30% subsidy and up to 350 euros per kW, while the basic condition is that the beneficiary has not started any work or order for the photovoltaic plant
More than 675 applications were submitted within a few hours of the start of the “photovoltaics in the field” program, covering over 7.28 million Euros from the total budget.
According to the relevant data from the Ministry of Environment and Energy, most applications (more than 250) come from the farmers of the plain of Thessaly.
It is recalled that through the program the installation of photovoltaic plants of up to 50kW by professional farmers, special status farmers and agricultural enterprises is supported.
Beneficiaries will receive a 30% subsidy and up to 350 euros per kW, while a basic condition for submitting an application to the program is that the beneficiary has not started any work or order for the photovoltaic plant.
Applications will be submitted until May 15, 2024, through an electronic platform (https://pvstegi.gov.gr), using TAXISNET codes.
As noted by the Ministry of the Interior, the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy Alexandra Sdoukou, within just two months of the announcement by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, launched the relevant procedures, in order for farmers to gain access to cheap energy through the program.
