More than 1700 Turkish tourists arrived today, Thursday, by boats and catamarans from Ayvali to the port of Mytilinitaking advantage of it visa express that was implemented last year week.

According to the local website On the Island, a “welcome” awaited them at the exit with ouzo, hat and foodat a reception organized by the Chamber of Lesvos with the “Aspida” Restaurant Association and the Mytilene Chamber of Commerce also participated.
In total, over 6,000 Turkish tourists are expected in Lesbos by the end of the week which we are going through, which has spread optimism in the commercial world of the city and the hotels.
Most come for the first time and plan to stay three nights, with popular destinations beyond city of Mytilini, Molyvos, Mandamados, Agiasos, Skala Eresos.
