An unprecedented incident happened 75 years old when, traveling with the KTEL Artas bound for Thessaloniki, the driver forgot it at a car service station in Egnatia Streetnear Grevena.

The old woman was returning from her husband’s funeral in a village of Arta. When the bus did standthe woman came down to visit her toilet. However, when she came out she was surprised to find that the bus had left.

A waiter at the station’s restaurant volunteered to help the woman and, after much effort, found his phone bus driver, called him and told him to stop the vehicle and take the elderly woman to the scene in his own car, so that he could pick her up. According to information, he was, however, faced with the incredible reaction of the driver, who ignore it and continue the route.

Finally, the elderly woman arrived after a long delay in Thessaloniki, with bus… school tripwho happened to stop at the car service station.

When the teachers learned about her adventure, they were willing to take her to the school headquarters, which is located about 20 kilometers from Thessaloniki. From there, the woman was picked up by her son.

ethnos.gr contacted the president of KTEL Artas, Nektarios Mitsios, who underlined that the elderly woman is absolutely right and he apologized for the inconvenience that he suffered.

“I have spoken to the woman and told her she is absolutely right. Unfortunately, the driver did not count the people on the bus. When they called him, he had already arrived in Kozani. For my part, I will move all of them prescribed procedures for the driver“, says Mr. Mitsios.
