In particular, in areas where the occurrence of heavy rainfall, storms or stormy winds is forecast, GGP recommends to the citizens:

– Avoid crossing torrents and streams, on foot or by vehicle, during storms and rainfall, but also for several hours after the end of their event.

– Take immediate precautions during a hailstorm. Take refuge in a building or car and do not leave the safe area until they are sure that the storm is over. Hail can also be very dangerous for animals.

– To be informed about the weather and the condition of the road network.

– To change the schedule of their movements in order to avoid the peak of the weather phenomena.

– Wear with many layers of light clothing, instead of a heavy garment and wear appropriate shoes to avoid injuries due to slipperiness
– To avoid unnecessary movements during peak phenomena (heavy snowfall, frost conditions).
