Starts tomorrow, Friday 19 April 2024, the advance payment of the regular unemployment benefitthe long-term unemployment subsidy and the self-employed unemployment allowance, as well as the advance payment of the Easter Gift to the subsidized unemployed, to beneficiaries of the special maternity protection benefit, the parental leave allowance and the work allowance.

The credits of the allowances and the Easter Gift will be made by the Public Employment Service (DYPA) by direct deposit to the bank accounts.

As stated in the relevant announcement, no action is required from the beneficiaries and there is no reason to attend the Employment Promotion Centers (KPA2).

Payments appear in bank accounts within three working days, after they have been paid by DYPA.

It is noted that the prepayment of the allowances of those unemployed who have an obligation to declare their presence during the period from April 19, 2024 to May 10, 2024 will take place, after the declaration of presence, which is done exclusively electronically via www.gov.gr
