General characteristics

In the northern Ionian, the western, central and northern mainland and in the islands of the eastern Aegean, temporarily increased clouds with local rains are forecast and mainly in the northern Ionian, Epirus, western Sterea, Macedonia and Thrace sporadic storms. Snowfall will occur in the northern continental highlands.
In the evening hours the effects will be limited to the northeast and will weaken.
In the rest of the country, sparse clouds, denser in places.
The winds will blow south southwest 4 to 6 and in the Aegean locally 7 Beaufort. From the midday hours in the west and the evening hours in the north they will turn west-northwesterly and weaken.
The temperature will rise slightly mainly in the east and south. It will reach 17 to 19 degrees in the north and 21 to 23 degrees Celsius in the rest of the regions.

MACEDONIA, THRACE

Weather: Cloudy with local rain and sporadic storms. A little snow will fall in the mountains. In the evening hours the phenomena will be limited to Thrace and will weaken.
Winds: From south directions 4 to 5 and in the east local 6 Beaufort. In the evening hours they will turn to west-northwesterly and weaken.
Temperature: From 09 to 19 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 3 to 4 degrees lower.

IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS

Weather: Clouds with local rains and mainly in the northern Ionian, Epirus and western Sterea sporadic storms. A little snow will fall in the mountains of Epirus. Improvement in the evening hours.
Winds: South southwest 4 to 6 Beaufort. From the midday hours they will turn to west-northwesterly and weaken.
Temperature: From 11 to 21 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 3 to 4 degrees lower.

EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS

Weather: Generally clear with sparse clouds at intervals.
Winds: From west directions 4 to 5 and in the noon and afternoon hours local 6 and in the east local 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 11 to 23 degrees Celsius.

CYCLADES, CRETE

Weather: Generally sunny with sparse clouds in places denser.
Winds: West southwest 4 to 5 and in the noon and afternoon local 6 and in the west local 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 23 degrees Celsius.

EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE

Weather: A few clouds locally increased in the islands of the eastern Aegean with local rains and in the northern parts possibly isolated storms.
Winds: From south directions 4 to 6 and from the afternoon to the north local 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 22 degrees Celsius.

THESSALY

Weather: Cloudy with local rain and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and afternoon. A little snow will fall in the mountains. Improvement in the evening hours.

Initially in the morning hours in northern Crete, the Cyclades, the Dodecanese and the Peloponnese, gradually at noon in the central and southern mainland and the islands of the eastern Aegean and from the afternoon in the western and northern mainland, clouds in places and at times increased with local rains. In the evening the phenomena will be limited to the mainland.
The winds will blow from eastern directions 3 to 5 Beaufort, in the southern seas 6 to 7 and in the southern Aegean locally up to 8 Beaufort.
The temperature will see a slight further rise mainly in the east and south. It will reach 17 to 19 degrees in the north, 20 to 23 in the rest of the mainland and 23 to 25 degrees Celsius in the eastern and southern island countries.

In the west, central and north, clouds are forecast temporarily increased with local rains and in the north and west continental until early afternoon isolated storms. In the evening hours in the northwest the phenomena will strengthen again with sporadic ones
storms. In the rest of the country, sparse clouds temporarily thicker.
The transport of African dust is favored mainly to the west and south.
Winds will blow east southeast 5 to 6 and locally in the seas 7 to 8 Beaufort. From the evening in the west they will turn to westerlies 4 to 6 Beaufort and in the east to south southeast 6 to 8 Beaufort.
The temperature will see a slight further rise mainly in the west and south.

FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY 04-24-2024

In the west and in the north, clouds are forecast temporarily increased with local rains, in the northwest in the early hours of the morning isolated storms and gradual improvement.
In the rest of the country, sparse clouds temporarily thicker than noon, mainly in Crete and the Dodecanese.
The transport of African dust is favored.
Winds will blow in the west west northwest 4 to 6 Beaufort. In the east they will blow from south directions 5 to 7 and locally in the southeast Aegean 8 Beaufort gradually turning from the west to west 5 to 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly in the northwest.
