Moments of horror at the hands of her partner for three whole years she was reportedly going through a 40-year-old Roma in Thessaloniki. According to what the woman reported to the authorities, her 42-year-old partner, also Roma, from the beginning of their relationship forced her to have sex with men, for money, while he beat her quite a few times.

The 42-year-old was arrested as part of searches by ELAS. After a previous complaint against her partner, he was imposed by the Court the restrictive condition according to which he is not allowed to stay in the house of the victim and to approach her, at a distance of less than (5) meters.

The announcement of the General Police Directorate of Thessaloniki on the case states:

Police officers of the Anti-Trafficking Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate, after an investigation and searches, arrested a 42-year-old citizen, against whom a case file was filed for the offenses of human trafficking, violation of court decisions and agreements ratified by a notary public, violation of the Law on addictive substances, and violation of the Domestic Violence Law.

In more detail, a complaint was filed by a 40-year-old citizen, who was initially transferred by police officers of the Department of Prevention and Suppression of Crime, to the Security Department of Ampelokipi – Menemeni, where he reported offenses related to sexual exploitation against her.

For the case, an investigation was carried out by the above-mentioned Service of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Human Trafficking, during which, in the presence of a psychologist from the Central Clinics of Thessaloniki, the 40-year-old woman stated that for the last (3) years she has been in a relationship and cohabiting with the 42-year-old, the who repeatedly uses physical violence against her, as well as that he himself forces her from the beginning of their relationship, to have sex with men, for a monetary fee.

It is noted that, based on the Decision of the 1st Three-member Misdemeanor Court of Thessaloniki, restrictive conditions were imposed on the perpetrator, according to which he is not allowed to live in the victim’s house and to approach her, at a distance of less than (5) meters.

After immediate searches, the 42-year-old was located by police officers of the Crime Prevention and Suppression Teams (OPKE) at KTEL Macedonia and arrested, while in addition (1) improvised nylon package containing a small amount of heroin was found and confiscated in his possession.

The arrested person, with the case filed against him, will be taken to the competent Prosecutor.
