Incidents of violence in the school community are becoming more and more violent
A 13-year-old boy was taken by ambulance to the Hospital, at noon last Friday, when was severely beaten from a peer from another High School.
According to flamis.gr, it all started when the 13-year-old had an argument with a classmate who, in order to resolve their differences, brought about ten people from another school, also near the center of Patras, to “confront” him.
The school gang invited the 13-year-old to go outside the High School to “discuss” and that’s when blood broke out.
The fight was fierce, with one of the gang placing a key between his fingers and punching the 13-year-old in the face, seriously injuring him above the eyebrow.
The little boy was bleeding and an ambulance was called to take him to the hospital for first aid.
His parents were informed, but until yesterday it was not known if they had filed a lawsuit.
His peers from the other High School disappeared as soon as they realized what had happened.
The Directorate of Secondary Education was informed about the matter and the Principal Eugenia Pierri has ordered an investigation to be carried out immediately upon the return of the students to schools, after the Easter holidays. As the incident happened on the last day of school.
