Police officers from the Directorates of Security, Police, Immediate Action and Foreigners of Thessaloniki carried out checks on the afternoon of Holy Saturday
From Minors Protection Sub-Directorate of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate a special operational action was planned for the prevention of juvenile delinquency, which was implemented on the afternoon of M. Saturday, in areas of the municipality of Thessaloniki, with the assistance of police officers from the Directorates of Security, Police, Immediate Action and Foreigners of Thessaloniki.
As part of the action, which was developed in selected places, a total of 131 people were checked, of which 119 were minors.
As noted in a related announcement by EL.AS., “the purpose was to collect data and map the movement of minors who may be involved in incidents of delinquency.
The data collected will be the subject of evaluation, utilization and investigation for the planning of targeted actions in areas where there is an accumulation of cases of juvenile delinquency.
Similar excursions will continue in the field of preventing and dealing with the phenomenon of youth crime”
