The mother of the unfortunate Kyriaki Griva, who was murdered by her ex-partner outside the AT Agios Anargyrons, is still being treated in the hospital.
Kyriaki’s mother had previously displayed suicidal tendencies, as a result of which she was immediately transferred to a hospital before making an attempt on her life.
The pain of Sunday’s mother is unbearable.
According to her advocate, Mr. Yiannis Apatsidis, who spoke to skai.gr, even the request to give her the clothes of her child that she was wearing that fatal night has not been answered by the criminal investigation department 43 days after the murder.
Commenting on the conclusion of the EDE that saw the light of day and ascribes very serious responsibilities to the police officers who were on duty at the Agios Anargyro police station, when Kyriaki had gone to ask for help, Mr. Apatsidis argues that other and even senior ELAS officers are also responsible which, however, have neither been investigated nor attributed.
He even complains that until today the family has not been called to contribute information despite the fact that there was a request from the mother.
As for Sunday’s killer who is hospitalized in the psychiatric hospital of Korydallos prisons, Mr. Apatsidis said characteristically: “He is being treated with special affection in quotes and pre-derm, under the responsibility of the professor of psychiatry who takes care of him in the psychiatric hospital of Korydallos prisoners, while other prisoners seriously ill patients are treated in a way we all know.”
In a press release issued by the lawyers of the murdered Kyriaki’s mother and sister, Elena Tzouli and Yiannis Apatsidis, they announce that they will submit a report to the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Georgia Adelini, requesting a hearing from her, “so that the strange way – according to common acceptance-operation of the Hearings Department of the First Instance Prosecutor’s Office, under its current Director, and to give an explicit order to investigate everyone responsible no matter how high and if he is located and no matter how High and if he guides the developments”.
The press release states: “The advocates of the mother and sister of Kyriaki Griva who was murdered by an assailant, but continues to be prosecuted by the authorities, Elena Tzoulis and Yiannis Apatsidis, have to state the following:
About a month ago, we requested with an application that we submitted, to be called to contribute information to the EDE against police officers. They never answered us, thus ignoring us, not us, but the mother herself, a mother who, because of the Authorities, has collapsed psychologically and is on the brink of life and death.
As soon as it was made public that the EDE’s conclusion was issued with selective leakage and selective disciplinary prosecutions, we asked the Hearings Prosecutor’s Office to provide us with the EDE’s file. Our application is based on the Law on Ethics and the standing Jurisprudence of the Personal Data Protection Authority. Nevertheless, after days of consideration – as if our request could not be perceived how reasonable it is – our request was rejected as allegedly premature.
How many months, days, seconds, fractions of seconds, must pass after this brutal act and the shameful actions of the Police, so that the Public Prosecutor’s Office suppresses these phenomena and does not participate even as a result, if not actively, in the entrenchment?
It goes without saying that now we will submit a report to the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Mrs. Georgia Adelini and we will request a hearing from the same, so that the strange way – by common admission – of the operation of the Hearings Department of the First Instance Prosecutor’s Office, under its current Director, is controlled, and an explicit order is given for an investigation of everyone responsible, no matter how high and if he is and how from High even if it guides the developments.
