The tomb of Kostas Voutsas was found broken in the First Cemetery of Athens, which caused a great disturbance to the relatives of the late actor.

Footage of the damage was shown on a morning television show while – according to information – the damage was caused by exhumation processes that took place next to the grave of Kostas Voutsa.

The actor’s sister, Nitsa Stamatopoulou, appeared upset about what happened. “It was sacrilege what happened, it is possible to break a man’s grave, whoever he is,” he said, among other things.

The ex-wife of the late actor, Evi Karagiannis, is also shocked.

“I’m honestly shocked, I can’t understand why this happened and how it happened, if they know it. I will immediately contact the Athens Cemetery to get information. I am in Kavala, it was time to go to the grave. In a few days I will be there for his memorial service, where I also hold a memorial service here in Kavala every year. We absolutely have to find out what has happened” initially said Evi Karagianni.

And he continued: “The terrible thing is that last night I saw him in my dream and he always gives me messages. I see him very often and he texts me. Last night I was watching him and today I am hearing and learning this thing. It is a great desecration.”
