Four cases of residential theft committed at the end of November 2023 in Orestiada were investigated by police officers of the Orestiada Security Directorate. For the four cases, a case file was filed against three men for founding and participating in a criminal organization and distinguished thefts.
In particular, the perpetrators were traveling by I.X. another person’s car in residences and climbed to the first floor of them, while subsequently breaking the balcony doors and entering inside them taking money, gold jewelry and valuables. In total the perpetrators managed to remove 10 golden pounds, the sum of 100 euros and gold jewelry with a total value of 46,300 euros. It is pointed out that the members of the spiral, in order to cover up their illegal activity and to divert the investigations of the prosecuting authorities, used telephone connections that were not declared in their real data, but in the data of other persons or foreign nationals of third countries.
The file that was created will be submitted to the Criminal Prosecutor of Orestiada.
