Pierrakakis: The future opens before you

The Minister of Education, Religion and Sports, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, wished good luck and good strength to all through his message, on the occasion of the start of the Panhellenic Games.

“Remember that nothing is judged, or everything is judged in one exam. The future opens before you. And what will make the difference in the end will be the quality of your character, your morals, the fortitude in your path”, the minister pointed out in his message.

Mr. Pierrakakis urged the candidates to have faith in their abilities. “You have spent countless hours studying to get to these exams. Trust yourself. Trust all the hours of work you’ve put in,” he said.

He also urged them to think about the big picture in order to manage stress. “The big picture is that on life’s path not everything is decided right now or next month. You will have many opportunities to be able to prove who you are and who you are,” he emphasized.

Finally, he invited the candidates to think that they are not alone, but together with their friends, teachers and parents, all those who are their companions and supporters. “Don’t hesitate to talk to them at any time,” concluded Mr. Pierrakakis.
