Free on paroleThe 53-year-old Norwegian who is accused of looking for young girls with an ad he had posted outside a Rhodes High School was released.

The accused will be tried next Monday at the Three-member Criminal Court of Rhodes

The foreigner is accused of attracting minors for the purpose of sexual acts and was arrested yesterday at 1:00 in the afternoon, by police officers of the Security Sub-Directorate of Rhodes at the restaurant where he had designated in his ad as a meeting place with minors.

After his arrest, the 53-year-old Norwegian was brought to the Prosecution of First Instance of Rhodes and was subsequently referred to Autoforos, to be tried. His trial was adjourned until Monday, June 10, and the Norwegian was released on the condition that he is not allowed to approach school complexes within 50 meters.

According to what has become known, it all started with an ad that the 53-year-old posted on the notice board of a high school in the city, which read:

“I’m looking for a slim, short schoolgirl to accompany me on a walk for two hours. – To wear bikini and shorts – Non-smoker. 15 euros.

Meet me in front of the Tavern…

Thursday at 13:00″

Naturally, the ad caused intense concern to the parents of the school, as it was circulated in the previous days on social media with a relevant message that drew their attention. A complaint was made to the Police and yesterday at noon the police went to the tavern where the meeting of the foreigner with the girls was to take place and arrested him.
