He was 91 years old.

The beloved actress who associated her name with the “golden ages” of Greek cinema, was recently hospitalized in a private clinic restoration.

In a statement released by her family at the time, she spoke about her fragile health of her, due to “multiple health issues arising from her advanced age (91)”.

Her funeral will take place on Wednesday, June 12 at the First Cemetery.

Her niece, Anna Stylianopoulou, speaking on a television show, said that her aunt has a serious infection and she is “psychologically devastated” to have lost her friends. “The biggest shock for my aunt was the loss of Mary Chronopoulou (in October 2013) who was her friend. This cost her a lot,” said Anna Stylianopoulou.
