The cost of the damages, as the deputy governor of Civil Protection Giorgos Tsapakos told APE-MBE, will exceed the 3 million euros, as the facilities have suffered great and extensive damage. However, as he said, “there is a plan b for the operation of the collection and the recycling process, with difficulty of course, but we will look at every possibility that exists to reduce the problem with waste.”
