Earlier, the municipal authority announced that due to the increased temperatures on Wednesday 12/6 and Thursday 13/6, the Kindergartens of the Municipality of Athens, as well as the central service (Rodos 181, Sepolia) will operate from 7 am. until 2 p.m. The flexible working hours will be implemented in accordance with the circular of the Ministry of the Interior on “Measures to protect employees for health reasons – Operation of public services in view of the impending heat wave”.
Schools will remain closed in Vrilissia, Dionysos, Heraklion, Moschato, Tauro, Ilisia, Piraeus, Petroupoli, Haidari, municipality of Saronikos, Marousi, Piraeus, Psychiko-Filothei, Byron, Koropi, municipality of Acharnon, Galatsi (only Thursday), Perama, municipality of Zografou, municipality of Agios Dimitrios, Agia Varvara, Kaisariani, Ymittos and Markopoulos.
