The culinary event of Naxos, which has become an institution, this year unites Italian cuisine with Graviera Naxos P.O.P. So, at the 6th Food Experience Graviera Naxos, which takes place June 14-16, Greek and Italian chefs will cook Italian specialties using the famous cheese in spaghetti a la carbonara, Neapolitan pizza, risotto, burdetto and arancini.

At the same time, in cooking lessons that will take place in the fertile orchards of Naxos with traditional wood-fired ovens and also on board for the enchanting Donoussa, flavors and aromas of Greece and Italy will blend, offering a unique culinary experience.

The Food Experience Graviera Naxos, which is organized by the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Naxos, began six years ago, in an effort to promote the cheese that has been characterized as “the gold of the island” and, at the same time, to introduce the world to the beauties of Naxos.

The fine, certified cheese has been recognized once again on a global level, as it managed to stand out and was awarded the Superior Taste Award with two stars from the International Taste Institute of Brussels (International Taste Institute, formerly ITQI).

The 6th Food Experience Graviera Naxos is under the auspices of the Greek-Italian Chamber.
