The fire that broke out on Saturday morning was brought under partial control in the region of Resti, in Salamina and specifically in a grassland area. Thanks to the immediate intervention, the fire did not reach dimensions. Nevertheless, 112 was activated, which sent a message to residents to be on high alert.
Also, according to information from the Fire Department, during the extinguishing operation, a fire truck overturned. Two firefighters were slightly injured by the overturning, who were taken to the island’s Health Center for further examinations.
