112 was sent to evacuate Ano Daskaleou – More than 120 firefighters with 4 pedestrian units and 32 vehicles are operating at the scene – There are no reports of damage to houses
The fire that broke out near Ano Daskaleio, in Keratea, presents a better picture, according to the latest update from the Fire Department. The immediate intervention of the fire brigade proved to be crucial and life-saving. As reported, there is no longer an active front, however, the major operation continues in order to deal with all outbreaks and avoid the possibility of a resurgence.
More than 120 firefighters with 38 vehicles and 4 pedestrian units immediately rushed to the scene. Also, volunteer firefighters and local water bodies contribute to the extinguishing.
For safety reasons, as the flames had reached very close to houses, an order was given by message from 112 for the evacuation of Ano Daskaleion. According to statements of the Mayor of the area, according to the information he has, he does not have any house.

Earlier, the Civil Protection sent a 112 message to the residents of Ano Daskaleion, in order to be ready, if he does not move from their homes.
