The daily edition of the historical left-wing newspaper “Avgi” is suspended.

According to information, the executive office of SYRIZA together with the Board of Directors. of the company took this decision on the sidelines of the financial problems he is talking about on the part of Koumoundourou.

The aim is to follow a consolidation model for both the print and radio station “Sto Kokkino”, similar to the model that will be followed in the party.

The workers have called a meeting for the afternoon at the newspaper’s offices. “We have just been informed that by the decision of the Executive Office of the party, the daily newspaper AUGIS is closing from TOMORROW. Therefore, we are calling a meeting today at 7pm at the newspaper offices, in order to organize our collective response. Representatives of our unions will also participate in the meeting”, it is stated in their call for the meeting.
