More specifically, on Wednesday (26-6-2024) and at approximately 05.20 in the morning, on Athens Avenue at its junction with Herakleitou Street, in the traffic flow towards Corinth, in the area of ​​the Municipality of Peristeri, a traffic accident took place involving the 17-year-old pedestrian, with involved 2 I.X.E. vehicles with unknown registration numbers, which were moving on Athens Avenue in the direction from Athens to Corinth and they led her away one after another while he was crossing Athens Avenue on foot from the left to the right in relation to the direction of the vehicles.

The result of the collision was the serious injury of the 17-year-old pedestrian, while the drivers of both the vehicles involved they left the scene of the accident without giving the necessary help and support and without notifying the nearest Police Authority.

The first car was silver in color and had a roof rack. According to an eyewitness, there were 4 people in the vehicle and after the drift, extensive damage was caused to its front surface (bonnet, windshield, left mirror).

The second car, which ran over the pedestrian while she was injured on the road, was black in color.
