The big pride march of Thessaloniki Europride 2024 started a little while ago. With the participation of thousands of people from different countries and starting from the park of the Chanth University, the big colorful march moves through the main streets of the city to end up at the White Tower, which will lit up in rainbow colors. Afterwards, at the statue of Alexander the Great, there will be a big concert.

This is the first EuroPride to be held in Greece and only the second to be hosted in Southeast Europe. At the head of the march is the colorful pride flag while floats follow with people on them dancing to the rhythm of the music.

Among the demonstrators and behind banners that read “Diplomats for Pride” were George Tsounis, US ambassador to Greece, Alexis Patelis, economic adviser to the Greek prime minister, and Albert Bourla, the Thessaloniki head of Pfizer.
