Due to the snowfall that occurred, by decision of the mayor of Lagada Ioannis Tachmatzidis, the school units of all levels in the Municipal Units of Sochos and Lahana will remain closed tomorrow Monday 28 February.
It is noted that the kindergartens in the above areas will not operate, as well as the KDAP. The school units in the other Municipal Units will operate normally.
Regarding the situation in the road network of the municipality, the main arteries remain open, while the snow removal of the secondary road network is in progress.
The heavy snowfall that occurs from the dawn of Sunday in West Macedonia affect the smooth operation of school units.
Thus, with the decision of the mayor of Grevena, George Dastamanis, on Monday, February 28, the schools of Primary and Secondary Education will start at 10:00, while the kindergartens will operate normally.
Also in the PE of Kastoria and in the Municipalities of Kastoria, Argos Orestiko and Nestori the schools will remain closed, while the kindergartens, the KDAP as well as the Ε.Ε.Ε.Ε.Κ. of the Municipality of Argos Orestiko, Kastoria.
In the district of Florina and in the Municipalities of Prespa, Florina and Amyntaio, the schools will remain closed, while the kindergartens will operate normally.
In the Municipality of Kozani and in the Municipalities of Eordea and Voio the schools will remain closed, while in the Municipalities of Kozani and Velvento the classes will start at 9:15. Also in the Municipality of Serbia, the schools will start at 10:00, while the kindergartens will operate normally.
