Until Monday, July 8, 2024, the unemployed who wish to participate in the new green skills acquisition and upgrading program of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) will be able to apply.
The continuing vocational training program for a total of 50,000 unemployed is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with funding from the European Union-NextGenerationEU and aims to link training with the needs of the labor market and strengthen the employability of unemployed for their faster reintegration into work in the context of the green transition of the economy.
As stated in the relevant announcement, each trainee will attend a theoretical training program, with a total duration of 80 hours.
After completing the training, the beneficiaries will participate in knowledge and skills certification exams by independent bodies and, those who succeed, they will receive the entire educational allowance, which amounts to up to 400 euros (5 euros per training hour).
