“I can’t really imagine who doesn’t want us there and it’s been a bit of a war since we were getting ready.”
Complaint about “little war” that receives from strangers does the Olympic gold medalist of Athens, Fani Chalkia, referring on Instagram to the explosion that occurred early on Friday in the Stoupa of the municipality of West Mani at her husband’s beach bar on the beach of Kalogria.
“I can’t really imagine who doesn’t want us to be there and a small war started from when we were preparing, setting fire (a guy with a full face), and now, trying to shake us in the air, when we really haven’t hurt a single person” she says characteristically in her account on Instagram.
“I honestly can’t imagine what human being could try to harm a woman who is trying to live her children, with her husband in a really difficult situation. I trust the Greek Police and I expect them to find the culprit,” emphasizes the gold medalist.
According to information, an improvised explosive device with a pipe exploded around 4 in the morning, causing minor material damage to the store, specifically to the exterior of the door and the tiled roof, without causing any injuries.
