Evelpidon remains the 8 employees of the blackmail circuit as the investigator demanded that their deposition be continued today.

The remaining 6 employees who are also involved in the blackmail of shopkeepers in downtown Athens will submit to the investigator tomorrow.

It is recalled that on Tuesday, they were carried by Attica Regional Governor Nikos Chardalia, 12 health supervisors who are accused of being involved in the circuit.

Employees were immediately on holiday, following the notification of the law enforcement authorities with changes to the Region’s health control services are sweeping on the sidelines of developments.

The 14 detainees, of whom nine are civil servants, were led to the investigator today at 10am.

According to information from the authorities, 9 of them work in the Central Sector’s audit services and the respective Northern Sector Services.

The members of the circuit had distinct roles. Among them are two executives of PASOK, with Harilaou Trikoupi hastening to suspend their party status.

At the same time, a “pivotal role” in the circuit was allegedly held by a 63-year-old woman. The 63-year-old received sums of 6-10 thousand euros for each case of mediation.

It is worth noting that the criminal organization seems to have “expanded its activities” even in Mykonos and other islands.
