Arms stunning of animals, a 52-year-old owner of a business with animal husbandry equipment, who was arrested in Thessaloniki, is accused of having imported and made available for sale through an online store.
Checks were carried out by the Weapons and Explosives Department of the Thessaloniki State Security Sub-Directorate, while in the specific online store listings related to the sale of the specific weapons, in the form of pistols and rifles, as well as their peripheral components, were found, according to an announcement by EL.AS.
An investigation followed in the physical store, but also in an adjacent warehouse, in an area of ​​eastern Thessaloniki, where, among other things, they were found and confiscated a gas-operated stun gun, chasing, immobilizing or killing animals, 16 canisters of propellant gas, 32 “dart” syringes, 75 syringe cartridges (needles then supplied) and a host of other ammunition related accessories for the above weapons.
The case file, according to information, accuses the 52-year-old of illegally importing the specific weapons from France and then selling them through the online store.
