Kosmocar-Volkswagen announces the launch of the ID.7 Pro S version, with a range of 707 km, and the most powerful Volkswagen model ever made, the ID.7 GTX, on the Greek market.

The ID.7 is the electric flagship in ID. family. For the first time, Volkswagen has an electric station wagon: the ID.7 Tourer & the ID.7 Tourer GTX.

It is the brand’s first purely electric station wagon car in the medium segment. It combines the advantages of zero emissions with a long range of up to 685 km (combined cycle, WLTP), a technologically advanced cockpit, high levels of comfort and exceptional spaciousness – making it the ideal ‘business car’.

The ID.7 Tourer differs significantly from the four-door fastback at the rear. The elongated roofline and refined profile are particularly key design features of the electric estate. In terms of styling, the Tourer is a fusion of a classic station wagon like the Passat and a dynamic shooting brake like the Arteon.

Thanks to its increased height at the rear, the volume of the luggage compartment is even greater than that of the sedan: with five passengers the ID.7 Tourer has up to 605 liters for luggage (with the rear seat back in the loading position). When loading up to the backs of the front seats and up to the roof, the capacity increases to up to 1,714 litres, underscoring the advantage of the car’s optimized design.

In the new ID.7 Tourer, Volkswagen adopts the comfort elements of the premium class through various sophisticated features, such as the air ducts that work automatically with small control motors and the ergoActive seats, with a new pressure point massage function and automatic air conditioning. Another innovation is the panoramic sunroof with smart glass – its crystal levels can be changed electrochromically by correspondingly changing its transmittance. The Wellness In-Car app is also completely new and allows various functions of the car to be adjusted through three preset programs (Fresh Up, Calm Down and Power Break), which can help boost well-being during the journey.

Volkswagen offers two different battery sizes for the ID.7 Tourer, which is equipped with a latest-generation electric drive system.

The compact drive unit is installed at the rear of the vehicle and delivers 210 kW (286 PS) and 545 Nm of torque.

The Pro version with a useful battery energy content of 77kWh allows a range of up to 604 km (in a combined WLTP cycle) with a top speed of 180km/h and acceleration from 0-100 in just 6.6¨.
The range-topping Pro S version has a useful battery energy content of 86kWh and a noticeably longer range of up to 688 km (on a combined WLTP cycle) with a top speed of 180km/h and acceleration from 0-100 in 6.7¨.

The larger battery is designed for a maximum charging power of up to 200 kW at DC fast charging stations, while the Pro version reaches a maximum charging power of 175 kW. At these power levels, the battery can be recharged from 10 to 80% in less than 30 minutes.

Together with the ID.7 GTX Tourer, the new ID.7 GTX is currently Volkswagen’s most powerful electric vehicle. This fastback accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 5.4 (and 5.5 on the ID.7 Tourer GTX) seconds and it’s exciting for the occupants to experience the power with which 250 kW becomes available from one second at the other. The ID.7 GTX effortlessly transfers its power to the road thanks to electric four-wheel drive with an electric motor on the front and rear axles.

And the ID.7 GTX boasts a range of up to 594 km, while the range of Volkswagen’s most powerful station wagon ever built is up to 583 km (combined cycle, WLTP). The 2 GTX battery can be charged with up to 200 kW at DC fast charging stations. In the fastest charge, the 86 kWh battery charges from 10 to 80% in just 26 minutes.

Until now, the ID.7 was only available in the Pro version (77 kWh). Now, the model is also available in the top version ID.7 Pro S with a battery with an energy capacity of 86 kWh. Its key performance figures are: power of 210 kW (286 PS), torque of 545 Nm, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h.
With an impressive range of up to 707 km (WLTP), the ID.7 Pro S demonstrates its suitability for long-distance journeys by covering long distances with almost no stops. And if charging on the way to a fast charger is still necessary, the ID.7 Pro S reaches a maximum charging power of 200 kW, which means it can charge in less than 26 minutes (10%-80%).
