For about 2 months now, abandoned cars and a coach have been placed on the promenade of Alimos, on the lawn in front of a well-known cafe, as a result of which many citizens have complained about the sight to SKAI.
The Mayor of Alimos, Andreas Kondylis, speaking to SKAI, explained that these vehicles have been placed there as a symbolic “occupation” of the space in front of the business, which is constantly expanding illegally with table seats, encroaching on the public area, even by encroaching on the beach »
“In the past we had put up other constructions, but they pulled them all down. Cars cannot move them,” said the mayor.
As he pointed out, even a banner that the municipality had put on the bus, “they took that off too”
“Here the fate of the beach is at stake, who will command the beach, the Municipality or the business. We are entering a phase of mobilization and disorder. When the real estate agency comes and the arbitrariness of the business goes away, the abandoned cars will also go away,” stressed Mr. Kondylis.
