The administration of the “Elena” hospital in its statement on the occasion of today’s publications about the situation prevailing in the institution for the restoration of the truth as it states, it points out the following:

1. The air conditioning in the premises works normally. In the event that some air conditioning units become inactive due to emergency or improper use, the legal mechanism is set in motion to repair or replace them.

2. No episode of fainting has been recorded by the nursing service except one, which involved a case of a pregnant woman with a history of orthostatic hypotension.

3. The hospital’s old coolers have indeed been taken out of service after a routine routine check, as they were deemed unfit for use due to germs.

The process of replacing them requires a reasonable period of time, which we try to be as soon as possible.

4. The disturbance in question was caused when the management refused to implement a temporary request of union members for free entry and parking of nurses’ vehicles within the hospital forecourt in order to ensure the smooth passage of ambulances and other heavy vehicles, e.g. firefighters, for the benefit of all our employees and fellow citizens.
