At the same time, it was established that the perpetrators had entered the country with forged identity cards
A pair of foreigners aged 44 and 45 were arrested yesterday in Mykonos by the police, against whom a case file was filed for possession – trafficking in narcotic substances and forgery.
In particular, according to ELAS, yesterday afternoon, as part of the investigation into a case of drug trafficking, a targeted check was carried out in collaboration with the Special Actions Unit of the Attica Security Directorate and the assistance of the specially trained police drug detection dog “KAGIA” in I.X.E. car and the temporary residence used by the perpetrators where they found a total of:
- 16 small packages of cocaine with a total weight of 19.8 grams
- 13 small packages of methamphetamine with a total weight of 28.9 grams
- Raw cannabis weighing 11.4 grams
- 285 narcotic tablets, without a prescription
- Hallucinogenic mushrooms weighing 2.8 grams
- 12,190 euros and 340 US dollars.
- 5 mobile phones

As it was established, the perpetrators had entered our country using fake identity cards in order to achieve their legal residence, but also to hide their real information.
The narcotics, forged documents and other evidence found were confiscated.
The arrested will be taken to the Syros District Court.
