Instructions for safe re-powering

Completing the work to restore the damage to the Medium Voltage Network of the areas affected by the catastrophic fire and intensifying the work to restore the supply of all Low Voltage services, DEDDIE draws attention to all consumers whose homes or shops have suffered damage, to carefully check the correct and safe operation of their internal electrical installations.

For the safe re-electrification of all buildings, the integrity of the internal installations as well as all its elements in the surrounding area (panel line, meter, grounding) must be ensured.

Control is absolutely imperative in order for the buildings to be re-electrified, as an uncontrolled electrical installation poses serious risks to human life such as electric shock, fire, and/or equipment damage, etc.

In cases where reconnection is required in an installation that has been affected by a fire, this will be carried out after the issuance of a Responsible Installer Declaration (IR), which must be submitted to our Company beforehand.
